Give for spastic hiccoughs, rheumatism (sore joints), hardened liver, diarrhea or cholera (frequent dehydrating bowel discharges resulting in extreme dehydration, and usually death, if not handled properly). Taken throughout pregnancy to prevent miscarriage or other problems.
